12. 02/29/2016: Summary of Quiz3 scores --- mean:13, Q1: 7.75, Median: 15, Q3: 18, standard deviation: 6.08

11. 02/16/2016: Summary of Midterm scores -- mean: 79 out of 110 (110 will be scaled later for the final grade).  Q1: 69, Median: 82, Q3: 95.5, sd: 20.5.

9. 01/26/2016:  Midterm will be on Feb-09th (as scheduled).  Covers Chapters 1--6. 

  • Bring your calculator & your fomula sheet (1 page, can use both sides, handwring only, submit with your midterm -- wont' be retruned)
  • Bring your ID
  • Will be asked to leave your belongs on the side stairs or in the front of the classroom. 
  • Midterm reveiw on Feb-04th
  • Practice midterm will be posted later

8. 01/26/2016: Quiz2 will be on Jan-28th (as scheduled) Covers Chapters, 3, 4, 5.1-5.3. Bring your calculator, no formula sheet (if the Bayes theorem is needed, it will be provided.  No other formula will be provided).

1. 01/01/2016:  We will *not* have discussion sessions and labs for Week 1 (we *do have lectures*).  In the first lecture, our TAs and lab instructors will visit our class and announce some information needed for discussion sections and labs.  Please *attend* the first lecture!
